Jamaal's Industrial plant and equipment staged at the San Juan yard

Core service

General contracting

One contract, one point of accountability, and a programme somebody is actually managing.

What this covers

We hold the contract, coordinate every trade and hand over a finished project.

As general contractor we take the head contract and deliver the whole project — programme, procurement, subcontractors, site management, quality and handover. You deal with us, not with a dozen separate trades who each blame the one before them.

This is the managed offer. Where we are engaged instead to carry out the structural and civil work itself, under someone else’s head contract or our own, that is building and civil construction.

Our leadership brings a deep understanding of both strategic planning and on-the-ground operations, which is what lets a project be run to a programme rather than reacted to week by week.

What’s included

Scope

A typical scope for this service. Anything here can be taken on its own or as part of a wider contract.

  • Head contract and single point of accountability
  • Programme, sequencing and critical-path management
  • Procurement of materials and subcontract trades
  • Day-to-day site management and supervision
  • Coordination of statutory approvals and inspections
  • Quality control and snagging
  • Cost reporting and variation control
  • Handover, documentation and defects liability

How it runs

From enquiry to handover

The same four steps on every job, whatever its size.

Enquiry

Call or send the form. Tell us the job, the location and when you need it — that is enough to start.

Site assessment

We come and look. Access, ground conditions and constraints decide the method, and they are not visible from an email.

Scope and quote

A written scope and price, with what is included and what is not stated plainly.

Execution and handover

We do the work to the agreed programme, and hand over with the documentation it needs.

Questions

About general contracting

How is this different from building and civil construction?
General contracting is the managed offer — we hold the contract and coordinate everyone. Building and civil construction is the executed offer — our own crews performing the structural and civil work.
Will you take on projects where some trades are already appointed?
Yes. Tell us what is already contracted and we will scope our role around it.
